Trump Residences Gurugram: Sold Out on Day 1

In a stunning display of demand for branded luxury real estate, Trump Residences Gurugram — the second Trump-branded project by Smartworld Developers and Tribeca Developers in the city — sold out completely on its very first day of launch. According to a joint statement by the developers, all 298 units of the newly launched Trump Residences in Gurugram were sold out on the very first day, generating net sales of ₹3,250 crore. Even the project's rarest inventory found instant buyers, as the project's ultra-premium penthouses, worth Rs 125 crore, were also fully allotted.

The project is located in Sector 69 along Southern Peripheral Road and Golf Course Road Extension, one of Gurugram's fastest-growing luxury corridors. Spread across two towers rising 51 storeys each, the development offers homes priced between ₹8 crore and ₹15 crore, with a total saleable area of 12 lakh square feet. The launch price was pegged at Rs 27,000 per square foot, reflecting the premium positioning of the Trump brand in the Indian market.

Under the partnership structure, Smartworld is responsible for construction, development, and customer experience, while Tribeca is overseeing design, marketing, sales, and quality control. Speaking on the milestone, Smartworld Developers founder Pankaj Bansal said, "The phenomenal response to Trump Residences is a testament to the aspiration for world-class living in India." Tribeca Developers founder Kalpesh Mehta called it a defining moment for the industry, noting that "Trump Residences Gurugram is not just a real estate project - it's a landmark moment for India's luxury market. Selling Rs 3,250 crore on Day 1 places this among the biggest luxury deals the country has ever seen."

This marks the second Trump-branded residential address in Gurugram and the sixth in India, following successful deliveries in Mumbai, Pune, and Kolkata. Notably, the first Trump Tower in Gurugram — located in Sector 65 and launched back in 2018 — has also sold out and is scheduled for delivery later this month, with founder Pankaj Bansal pointing out that resale values there have already more than doubled, since "the price was Rs 16,500 per sqft, and today the resale price is Rs 35,000 per sqft."

The sellout comes against the backdrop of a broader boom in Gurugram's ultra-luxury housing segment. A recent report by India Sotheby's International Realty and CRE Matrix found that the number of high-end homes sold in Gurugram nearly tripled year-on-year, rising to 1,494 units from 519 units previously, with value expanding from ₹13,384 crore in 2024 to ₹24,120 crore, a shift that has, for the first time, pushed the city ahead of Mumbai in total luxury sales value. Tribeca's Group CEO Rajat Khandelwal noted that Trump Residences Gurugram, which sold out within hours of its launch, is a testament to the city's growing appetite for branded, high-end real estate, resonating strongly with buyers seeking exclusivity and lasting asset value.

Beyond the headline numbers, the project is designed to stand out on lifestyle features too. Residents can look forward to an all-glass façade, double-height living rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, private elevators, and a shared rooftop offering views of the Aravallis, along with a distinctive touch — India's first aquarium bar, integrating a massive aquarium into a bar and restaurant for a unique experience.

With the Trump-branded inventory in Gurugram now fully allotted, homebuyers looking for a similar address will need to track Smartworld's upcoming launches or explore the resale market for existing Trump-branded units, where early investors have already seen sharp appreciation. Meanwhile, industry watchers are calling this sellout a bellwether for how deeply the branded luxury housing trend has taken root in Delhi-NCR, with the Trump name proving, once again, that scarcity and global branding can move even eight-figure-priced homes in a single day.
