Smartworld Teams Up With Tribeca to Launch Trump Residences Gurugram
Gurugram's skyline is about to get a whole lot bolder. Smartworld Developers has partnered with Tribeca Developers and The Trump Organization to launch Trump Residences Gurgaon, marking the second Trump-branded residential tower in the city. The project sits in Sector 69, just off Southern Peripheral Road, an address that puts it within easy reach of business hubs, upcoming metro lines, schools, and hospitals.
The scale of the project matches its ambition. Trump Residences Gurgaon will rise as twin 51-storey towers with 298 luxury homes, spread across a total saleable area of 12 lakh square feet, standing roughly 200 metres tall and ranking among the tallest residential buildings in North India. Homes come in 3 BHK and 4 BHK configurations, ranging from 3,001 sq ft to 4,909 sq ft, with double-height living rooms, floor-to-ceiling glass, and private lift lobbies opening directly into each residence.
Money talks, and this project is speaking loudly. Smartworld Developers co-founder Pankaj Bansal confirmed a total project cost of around Rs 2,200 crore, with the tower launched at Rs 27,000 per square foot. Apartments were initially priced between Rs 8 crore and Rs 12 crore, with later reports pegging the range up to Rs 15 crore per unit for select high-floor and penthouse residences.
What happened next made headlines across the country. On launch day, all 298 homes at Trump Residences Gurugram were sold out, with the developers announcing bookings worth Rs 3,250 crore in a single day, including the sale of the project's Rs 125 crore ultra-premium penthouses. It's being called one of the biggest single-day luxury real estate sell-outs India has ever recorded.
The project's backers didn't hold back on the excitement. Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organisation, said the group was "incredibly excited to launch our second project in Gurgaon," adding that the Trump Organisation has "tremendous confidence... in Gurgaon's future." Pankaj Bansal called the response "a testament to the aspiration for world-class living in India," while Tribeca founder Kalpesh Mehta said the launch is "not just a real estate project - it's a landmark moment for India's luxury market."
Design is a big part of the story here. The interiors are being shaped by Italian architect Matteo Nunziati, and the tower will feature a 41,000 sq ft clubhouse, rooftop pool, spa, gym, padel court, and mini theatre. One standout feature grabbing attention: an aquarium bar integrated into a bar-and-restaurant space, reportedly a first for Gurugram. Smartworld will handle development, construction and customer service, while Tribeca leads design, marketing, sales and quality control.
The timing isn't coincidental. Industry watchers point to a broader luxury housing boom in India, fuelled by a growing base of high-net-worth individuals seeking internationally benchmarked homes. As one Delhi-based luxury real estate consultant put it, buyers here "are not just investing in square footage—they're buying into global branding, exclusivity, and a lifestyle experience." This comes soon after Trump Towers Delhi-NCR, the first Trump-branded project in Gurugram launched back in 2018, sold out completely and moved toward possession.
For homebuyers tracking Gurugram's luxury corridor, this launch adds another marker to Smartworld's growing portfolio, which already includes Smartworld Orchard, Smartworld Gems, Smartworld Sky Arc in Sector 69, and Smartworld The Edition in Sector 66. With Trump Residences now fully booked, expect resale interest and secondary listings to become the next big talking point in this micro-market.
